Youth Science Canada came to Relish to help them find a better way to connect with millions of Canadian youth and foster a love of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The leading youth STEM project organization in the country, YSC organizes the annual Canada-Wide Science Fair and inspires youth to explore the world of science and to choose a career in Canada in science and science-related fields.
mystemspace.ca is Youth Science Canada’s fully accessible youth-focused website that inspires school kids from K-12 to help solve some of the biggest global challenges by thinking big, asking questions, and harnessing their passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Every year, about 500,000 K-12 students across Canada create a STEM project. The site provides all the information kids need to participate in more than 100 YSC-affiliated regional fairs and attend the Canada-Wide Science Fair, whether physically or virtually. It also helps connect them with mentors to support their projects.
The platform teaches students about scientific inquiry, methodology, safety, and ethics. It also features resources and idea starters to inspire youth to investigate scientific questions and develop innovative solutions related to current and future challenges. Its vast project library showcases past and present student projects and helps fuel student curiosity. The database is searchable and categorized by topic to make it easy for students to learn and get inspired.
