Relish’s 8-Bit Runner Wins Gold, Silver at 2020 Marketing Awards

Congratulations to our partners john st. and No Frills who tapped Relish to design and build Haulers: Aisles of Glory. The virtual shopping experience hauled home the GOLD for Best Design: Website, Apps, Mobile and SILVER for Best Advertising: Game at the 2020 Strategy Marketing Awards.

In support of its viral Hauler campaign, No Frills’ AOR tapped Relish to come up with a disruptive and irreverent creative concept that would capture the imaginations of Millennials. Hauler is an outrageous and addictive 8-bit runner where players can earn their share of 50 million PC Optimum Points up for grabs. The game earned a phenomenal ~4-minute session time, a 52% conversion rate, a 5.7% increase in in-store sales, and resulted in the awarding of 25 million points in the first 24 hours post-launch. We were also recognized with awards in the 2020 Marketing Awards for Websites/Apps/Mobile (Gold) and Digital/Games (Silver) in the Design and Advertising categories, respectively.
