Webby Awards Nomination for Xavier Riddle Hero Maker

20 April 2021

The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) today announced the Nominees for The 25th Annual Webby Awards and we’re thrilled to announce our work with 9 Story, Brown Bag Films, and PBS KIDS on Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum is nominated for a People’s Voice Award in the Family and Kids Games category.

This is the latest in a raft of awards nominations our work on Xavier Riddle has received. Last week, Relish was honoured with a 2021 Youth Media Alliance Awards of Excellence nomination for for Best Gaming or Interactive Experiences for Story Creator, an HTML5 web game Relish developed for the Xavier Riddle series on PBS KIDS games platform. Our team’s awesome work was also recognized with two Kidscreen Awards nominations in the Digital/Preschool category for Best Website and Best Alternative Game.

Relish conceptualized and developed the website and a suite of HTML5 games for PBS KIDS’ new animated adventure-comedy based on Brad Meltzer and Chris Eliopoulous’ best-selling kids book series, Ordinary People Change the World. The interactive builds on the show’s themes that ordinary kids can be extraordinary and change the world. Each game teaches players about heroes of the past so they can learn how to be their own heroes of the present!
The Webby People’s Voice Awards are voted online by fans across the globe and recognize the best of the Internet. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 and honored in a special internet celebration hosted by Jameela Jamil. Congratulations to all the 2021 Webby Awards nominees and honorees!
